| Celyn Farmers Markets Mold Farmers Market is held every first and third Saturday of the month between 9.00am and 2.00pm at the Church Hall,King Street, Mold. This is a food only market Grosvenor Farmers Market is held every second Friday of the month between 10.00am and 3.00pm at Grosvenor Garden Centre, Belgrave (near Chester). This is a food only market. Northop Farmers' Market is now 10 years old! and is one of the oldest farmers' markets in the country! The market has moved back to the pack-house at the Welsh College of Horticulture in Northop (access is via the Garden Centre entrance, it is well signed and has plenty of hard standing car parking). Held every third Sunday of the month between 9.00am and 1.00pm This is a food and crafts market. A great follow on course from the Summer, that educates about the trees in the winter, how to identify them, what changes and their key features. Our new regular volunteer days are held every Thursday 10-3. Please bring a packed lunch- tea and coffee available. To come to one of our volunteering days as a taster email: volunteer@newwildlife.org.uk We need volunteers to help carry out surveys for amphibians and mammals throughout the year. Training courses cover topics such as amphibian, reptile and mammal ecology, surveying for fauna and flora, together with practical courses for dry stone walling, hedge laying and pond creation. (The volunteering day on 16th Feb will be at the Broadoak Woods Litter Pick and Fun Day, to help support the members of the public) Please see the details in the list below. We just ask that you complete our volunteering form prior to coming for our records in case of emergency.
